Early Membership Renewal Contest Re-Draw: The winner of the $100 Biker Bob’s Gift Card for our Early Membership Renewal Contest has not claimed his prize, after many attempts to reach him, so we plan to hold another drawing for all who qualified for the contest and pick another winner at our May 4th General Membership Meeting. Also please remember that starting May 1st, our membership dues will increase from $20 to $30 so if you haven’t renewed your Motown H.O.G. membership for 2017, you still have time to renew at Biker Bob’s before the price increases on Monday.

Looking for pictures from the past: We are searching for pictures of former chapter members who have passed away that are missing on our Memorial Page. If you know any of the 3 people below and would be able to provide us with a picture and maybe a quick bio, we would appreciate anything you can share with us.

  • David Love – Passed in 2007
  • Mike Stremmel – Passed in 2005
  • Kenny Mulholland – Passed in 2001

We also ask you to also reach out to other family members and friends from the past who may be able to help us complete our Memorial Page. Please contact our Historian, Marty Kerstens if you have anything we can use.

Reminder on CLOSED EVENTS: As a reminder, our Motown H.O.G. chapter has to do so many “Closed” chapter events. Our Memorial Ride and our Chapter Picnic are two of these events. The Memorial Ride gives our current active members a chance to remember our past chapter friends and family members who are no longer with us. Because this event is not an “Open Ride” to the general public, additional insurance is not required nor purchased. Therefore, we remind everyone that both the Memorial Ride and our Chapter Picnic remain a CLOSED event for members only. If any non-chapter member wishes to attend the ceremonial service held at the end of the Memorial Ride, they are welcome to join us at the Michigan Memorial Park pavilion at 1:30 p.m. The date for the Memorial Ride is Saturday, May 6th. The address for Michigan Memorial Park is 32163 W. Huron Drive in Flat Rock. Thank you for your understanding.
